Frequencies for PA QSO Party Reply

What do the frequencies by band listed in the PA QSO Party rules indicate? Are they the lower limit of band segments we should try to stay in? If so, what are the upper limits? And what does the reference to "on the hour and half hour" for CW and SSB mean? I can't find this info anywhere! This will be my first QSO Party and I'm running out of time... any help will be appreciated by this contest beginner...73, Jerry K3MGT

Hi Jerry,

The frequencies listed are just a guide. Usually, but not always, the contest activity is centered on those frequencies and expands outward. Just stay within the limits of your license and you'll be fine. Operating Phone for the first half of an hour, and operating CW the second half of an hour is just a suggestion.

Hope this helped answer your questions...I look forward to working you many times this weekend.
