2nd WWYC Meeting to be held in Poland

Youth power meets again! 6th birthday of Worldwide Young Contesters and their 2nd meeting is comming along! Even tho WWYC Club is still working on unformal basis that doesnt stop them for being even more active - their activity went up 22% based on submitted scores and logs and 28% in new members in the last 12 months. Their 600th member joined in on 13th July making this Club passing another line. Besides successful first Meeting held in Croatia last summer this sure gives enough reasons for WWYCers to have their 2nd meeting. This time they chose Poland to host them. This choice lies in the fact that almost 80 members come from that country with a very good organizing team that is met around their main leader YL Donata, SP5HNK. Yes, young lady is in charge for running this event - yet another boundary is broken in this strange Club.

Meeting starts on 18th August in Darlowo, on the north coast of Poland and goes with 5 days fully filled program. Presentations, ham games, ARDF, SP0WWYC on the air activity and 3Z1LH lighthouse activity. Weirdness never ends in this Club - there will be FCC exams, football matches, barbequing, beach volley, bus tours and probably a day and night partying surrounded with young men and young ladies - and yes that's an amateur radio meeting - the way young people do it!
