Young Contesters Meeting Held In Croatia!

Just recently, in the last IOTA Contest week, there was a WWYC (World Wide Young Contesters) Meeting going on in Croatia. Over 40 young contesters from 14 DXCCs gathered to have a 5 days meeting in order to exchange expiriences, do some contesting and have a lot of fun.

We hardly think you could ever see a hamradio meeting with so many young people from so many countries! Beside that there were some very known people on the meeting; WRTC competitors and organizers, contest managers, expeditioners and very active contesters.

After 5 days, numerous presentations, parties and contests, we proved to ourselves, yes we can offer something to young people, yes hamradio is one great hobby and yes, amateurs are great people.

We hope that the next meeting will be even more supported by older people! Until next such meeting there is just pictures to see...
