KCDXC The Kansas City DX Club will be supporting the IARU and WRTC contests through special participation. In honor of one of our founders (W0AR) Lee Bergren, well be holding an promotional event at Associated Radio in Overland Park, KS. Under the callsign W0AR, Lee Bergren (recently inducted into the DX Hall of Fame) and other KCDXC members will participate in the contests during Saturday July 13th from Dawn until Dusk at Associated Radio during extended store hours. This being the 50th Anniversary of the Kansas City DX Club gives us great pride to share with the amateur community. Members of the club will be available all day for explainations about contesting and DXing. Question answer sessions will be informal. Visitors will have a chance to hear what a contest looks like and sounds like. And... if they stay around long enough they'll hear several different pieces of equipment during the course of the day. For additional information contact Tom, AE9B via Email [email protected] thanks for your support.
