The rules for IOTA Contest 2001, held on July 28/29, 2001, have been released recently by the RSGB, and are availabe at http://www.g4tsh.demon.co.uk/HFCC/IOTA.htm. They include a few changes. One major addition is a new "Single OP Assisted" category (very similar to that in CQWW). IOTA Single OPs now have a total of 36 category/section combinations to choose from, while there is still only one for Multi OP stations on islands.
For those who enjoy IOTA Contest, there now is a dedicated reflector at Yahoogroups. To subscribe, simply send an e-mail to
mailto:[email protected] or go to
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/iota-contest/join. List members are encouraged to post news about planned activations, contest reports and claimed scores, QSL routes and QSL route requests, rule questions and discussions, as long as they refer to the RSGB IOTA Contest. Messages should preferably be in English. This is a privately organized mailing list that is in no way affiliated to or endorsed by the RSGB or any other ham radio organization.
