Contesting.com Mailing List Archvies

Hey where'd the mailing list archives go to?

We have moved the mailing list archives to a new address. The new address is lists.contesting.com instead of the old address of www.contesting.com. So for a mailing list like towertalk, you would go to http://lists.contesting.com/_towertalk. The links on the left side of this and every page on the site will take you directly to the list archives for a particular list.

The new www.contesting.com is running the community part of the contesting.com web site and lists.contesting.com is doing the work of the contesting.com mail and mailing list archives. This also means that we have separated the load of the contesting.com domain between two boxes. This should speed things up a bit.

Archive Search doesnt seem to work Reply

Just wanted to use the "Archive Search" on the left side - but no results are shown, even there must be some! Perhaps its "under construction", who knows...

Keep up the good work,

Ya, I think in the process of the conversion we lost the search index. I think Dave Pascoe (KM3T) is working on it. We should have the search engine working again shortly.

Note that www.contesting.com/_<list> gets you there as well now, just like it always did.

The search engine should be back in full operation after the WPX weekend. Thanks for the reports...hang in there.
