The Northern California Contest Club will be holding a 2 track 4 hour contestin seminar at Visalia again
this year,
There wil be a Begining, and an Advanced Contesting seminar. Cost will again be $10 for either
Contesting Package.
This was a well recieve Program last year and looks to be sold out again this year, too.
Come learn some interesting material on improving your self and your station. (and remember, a side
benifit for a lot of contests is "Free DX ".)
I hope to see you there! Sign up early, don't miss out.

I have always wanted to attend the Visalia DX convention. Unfortuantely it is usually the same date as the Barstow Off Road Poker Run that I like to do with the family, which is the last weekend of April. I think this year I will make the DX convention and the Contest Academy.

2010 Visalia DX Convention Contest Dinner
The Mother Lode DX and Contest Club is pleased to host the 11th
Annual Contest Dinner on Friday April 16, 2010 at the
<http://www.dxconvention.org/>International DX Convention in Visalia,
CA. Contest Dinner tickets are on sale now at www.mldxcc.org . There
will be no Contest Dinner tickets sold at the door. Order your tickets early!
The dinner will be held in the Oak room at the Holiday Inn, Visalia.
Doors and cash bar open at 6:30 p.m. Dinner will be served at 7:30 p.m.

Menu:
Ranch Steak and Chicken de la Sol Combo:
* Seared 6oz. Certified Angus Ranch Steak
* Breast of Chicken Topped with a Rich Sherry Cream Sauce
* with Sun Dried Tomatoes and Wild Mushrooms
* Served with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Fresh Steamed Medley of
Vegetables
* Field of Greens Salad and Assorted Dressings
* Assorted Rolls and Butter
* Chocolate Decadence Tort
* Freshly Brewed Regular & Decaffeinated Coffee and Iced Tea
Other beverages available for purchase at the cash bar.
Cost and Ticket Sales:
Dinner reservations are by pre-payment ONLY - no tickets will be sold
at the door!
$38 per person with random seating; or,
$370 for a full table for 10 people All 10 tickets must be purchased
by ONE person. One table will then be reserved for that person.
Location of the reserved table will be random.
Seating is limited to 150, no tickets will be sold at the door.
Ticket orders MUST be placed by April 12, 2010.

Once again a superb job done by the Crew at Visalia, and a good time had by all. look at contesting as a contest on the radio with free DX thrown in..:)
