Imagine how different contest results would be if everyone sent in their logs! Recently, here in Australia, at the Jack Files Memorial contest, a total of eight (8) logs were received at the contest department.
Eight logs out of 16000 amateurs? That's plain terrible! If you operate a contest, you should always put your log in, no matter how big or small (For example, I scored 3 points in my first ever contest!).
The more logs people put in, the more encouraged the scorers become, and eventually, the more contests YOU get to participate in!
So do the right thing by your fellow contesters - get those logs in!

I agree, no matter how big or small, send in the logs. The magazines publish every log for their contests and you would be surprised at the certificates that you can win.
It's a bit of an ego trip to see your call in print and people do read the results. I was contacted by the Tennessee Contest Group because they saw my score in a contest. It has been great belonging to the TCG and submitting my log opened that door.
Besides numerous certificates for state QSO parties, I have won certificates from the ARRL DX contest (first TN section, high power) and the CQ WPX contest (first, rookie low power all band CW). The latter was with only 1235 points!
You just never know who might or might be there.
So, submit those logs.
