Im still having a problem getting SO2R rtty running with windows XP. I have
mmtty succesfully running on radio right and am having a problem with running
my KAM tnc for radio left. I am using my one and only comport for FSK with
mmtty thru writelog, all that is good. I am running the KAM TNC thru a USB buss
which has 8 slots. While running SO2R the tnc will print about 10 to 15
characters (sending or recieving) no problem, then it will miss a few
characters, for example my call (ke6qr) may be sent as e6qr or keqr then all
will be well for about 10 more characters before it happens again. Now, if I
close out writelog and run another tnc program such as KAwin it will send
perfect rtty all night long without ever missing anything, all on the same USB
buss port and adapter. Any ideas what is causing this problem and what I can do
