I have been using WL for almost 2 years and love it. But it has a
problem (or I do).
If a call comes on the screen and is in the partial check dta file it
will appear as green, etc. I can click anywhere on the green and it
goes into the log entry window. If it's not highlighted, I have to
click on the very first letter of the call for the entire call to appear
in the log entry window. If wb6xyz isn't in the supe rcheck partial
file and I inadvertantly click on the B in the call, then the call goes
in as b6xyz, unless I notice the error and re-click on the w. Is there
a way to eliminate this action and allow clicking anywhere on the call
and have it go to the log entry window? Or can I hit a key to put it
there? The same thing happens with a state. For example if a station
gives me a 599 IL, I have to click on the I in IL and if I click on the
L, then only the L will appear in the proper section of the log entry
window. A friend uses N1MM and said that he can click anywhere on the
S/P/C and it will go to the entry window. Plus, he said, that N1MM
highlights the S/P/C, which WL doesn't do.
Any answers guys or am I just dreaming that life might get simpler in a
contest? I hope I've explained this so it's understandable.
