Well, this is a SWAG, but I think the problem might be the way Windows
handles its SWAP file. Here, on all my machines, I take control of
virtual memory, and limit the size of the swap file to no more than
400 MB.

Device Manager, Add/Remove and click on the right box. ( I think )
