[WriteLog] Lockup of 10.44B Additional Info.

Thanks to all who have offered suggestions and 
encouragement.  Unfortunately, still without use of WL, MMTTY and MixW2.

One thing did forget in the original post is the OS is 98SE and the 
provider is Cox Cable.  Nothing extra had to be loaded to connect to the 
internet via Cox Cable.

The lockup problem happens when WL, MMTTY or MixW2 are started.  They start 
to come up and then the computer locks up.  Cursor doesn't respond, 
etc.  After about five minutes, the computer automatically restarts.

Reloaded 10.44 and near the end of the setup a "Network setup ok" message 
comes up in the upper left corner.   However, still doesn't work.  Also, 
I've played with the .ini files in WL and MMTTY to get the com ports 
disabled, but no joy.  No conflict between the IRQs on either the LinkSys 
Ethernet adapter, the creative sound blaster 16 plug and play, or any of 
the com ports - 1, 2, 3, 6.

If you have any additional ideas on what to look for, etc. please forward.

this problem.
