Excellent idea Barry!! As a beginning contester who is just learning
to CQ, I find it an annoyance to jump to the RIT knob when a RTTY
station is so far off I can't print him. And resetting the RIT to
zero when the the QSO is logged is perfect!!

I don't know if such a feature can be implemented (anybody know?),

of RIT?

When running, I find the most frequent cause of having to move my
hand from the keyboard to the radio is tweaking the RIT for a station
that answered off frequency. I think it's great that hitting the *
resets the RIT to zero (it would even be greater if there were an INI
parameter to permit automatically resetting the RIT upon logging a
QSO). Wouldn't it be nice if you could hit a couple of keys (maybe
CTL right and left arrow) to move the RIT?
Comments?
