This is one of several "all out" ironman marathons. The winner gets to deal
with the brutal body punishment he (or she) had to put up with. Disconnect
your ALC also :-))
Don't worry about a timer. If you are a single op it will not be
functional.

I read and printed the rules for this weekends CW contest and see no single
op time limit. Can a single op work the full 48 hours? Not that I will but
the last 2 48 hour contests had a 30 hour limit for single op.
WL contest timer. When does the timer start? If I start to set it up and
test my log today will it mess up the timer?
