There is also a character limitation of what WriteLog will accept.  I forget
what it is, but something like 12 characters.  I discovered this by trial
and error when creating a couple of "custom hi msgs for special friends" in
a certain contest - e.g. TE1ST=HI BOB YOU BIG GUN, or something like that.
Callsign=Firstname should be OK, but be careful and test first if you go
longer.  I'm sure that it's limited in part because some people don't like
to be slowed down by it at all, receive or transmit, so use sparingly!  73
