I want to thank all who offered up ideas on what to do. This is what finally
worked.
First I am running 98SE on a pentium 90 MHZ machine with a big hard drive and
48 meg ram.
This what I must do to get good cw;
Boot the computer and hit the F8 key during the process.
Select "Command Prompt
Type smartdrv c+ and hit enter
at the prompt, I type cd log\contest\naqp\cw and hit enter
Then TR enter and away I go.
Both rigs send good cw. TR works well (I wish I could say that for the
operator)
