another VERY valuable point in having the mults displayed
is that it give the multitudes of inexperienced TR users
that show up at FD a reference for the correct Syntax to
enter a section abr. that will be accepted....i.e. La and Lax are
not the same or OR and Org etc.......if the syntax is wrong it frustrates
the hell oughta the operator etc cuz the qso won't log when the enter
key is pressed or it enters it wrong.

as tree says if u don't wanna see em on the screen they can be turned off
via the CNTRL J menu.......for serious contesting i like the wked
mults to be blanked out but for FD the dimming choice is better for
helping the inexperienced.......

quote of the day from the W7GG FD effort was when an operator was
asked what his FD class was, he responded that he was in the "extra class"
...... felt like asking where this guy downloaded his license from!!

best phonetics were "willy billy five gnat knife pneumonia" WB5GKP"
that one will wake u up!!
