Chuck,

     I also have a Diamond X-50NA. I researched the paint. Rustoleum wouldn't
promise me there wasn't metal in the paint. I selected Krylon, either because
they told me it didn't have metal or I just got tired of researching. I can't
remember for sure.

So I sprayed it with Krylon gray primer. It has worked fine for six years
and there is no indication of paint failure. And it puts out a solid signal to
Mt. Greylock, 77 miles away LOS.

        73,
        -John
