Depending on the insulation on your wire and the position on the wire, voltage node (peak or null) and power delivered to the antenna, you might find RF going to the contacted vegetation.

Any chance you might be able to do a little pruning and avoid antenna to tree contact?

I want to get on the air and I have a dense forest behind me. No
supports available at this time so I can use an antenna launcher of some sort
to
get a wire up in the trees so I guess I just go for a bunch of small
insulated wire (so it doesn't short out when it rains) and feed it with a
tuner?
Any hints, kinks or options to my plan? Wire vendors? Tnx.
