Hi Bob -- Thanks, again, for the antenna suggestions.

Some guys have suggested shunt feeding and loading up a tower
on 80 and 160 meters. Do you figure I could do that with a tower like
the Hi-Tower (or like your version of it?) I know the HyGain company
sells a 160 meter coil and add on kit for that, but I could maybe just
load up the tower itself as a radiator for 160... Maybe work even
better if I made it a bit taller, like 50-60 feet, whereas the original
Hi-Tower is something like 53 feet.

I could also try to hang a big doublet and feed it with open window line
or the like and have that to work, also, and trade off between each
other depending on band conditions, take off angles, distance to
other station, etc.

Hmmmm..... so you say a tower type antenna like yours is loud...

Thanks - again - for your assistance and suggestions !!!

Happy trails and 73. //// Richards - K8JHR ///

The vertical will work on 20, 40, 75 without
