yet another follow up…
lately been noticing that the sub receiver is deaf until the rig warms up…then
have to go to 20 meters via sub receiver, switch between sub rx buttons, listen
for hash on the VFO A sub receiver setting, go back to VFO B sub rx button then
reboot the rig…..
then the sub receiver will operate normally.
still feels like connector corrosion problems.
will probably open up the rig, clean and re-seat the cables and connectors in a
couple of months if don’t sell the rig.
Have an Orion II coming in a couple of days, so my time will be tied up with
it.
