My Omni-V has it too. 10m also has low level birdies between 28.000 & 28.030 - Ten-Tec stated they were artifacts of the mixing scheme - I recall the 15m birdie is documented in the manual. Being ~95% CW/DIGI it is of no consequence to me.

The 10m birdies were really annoying so I re-crystalled 29.500-30.000 (who goes there anyway?) to 27.500-28.000 and use the 30khz overshoot to get a squeeky clean 28.000-28.030.

Barry,,

Yes, I have both birdies - same freq, same level, no ant.

I hear a very strong birdy (s5 with antenna disconnected) on my Omni 6+ at
21332.7KHz (CW) or 21329.5KHz (USB). Could other Omni 6 owners check and
let me know if they also hear this and whether it's also that strong?

Thanks& 73,
