You can't key the Omni VI via the CI/V port. I used to run a parallel port
adapter (by W1??) that connected to the rear Key jack (I think I just
dot-OR'd my keyer with the interface's lines).

I have an omni 6 runing n3fjp softwave , i am using a w1gee interface
from the computer to the ci/v jack on the rear of the omni , control of the
rig is fine, however i can not send cw , i am almost 99% sure i did this in
the past , any ideas would be appreciated
