well i guess mine havent worked they have only been in the ground for 15 years 
just stuck in the ground with guys on them.
 
maybe those engineeers need to pay a visit to my qth.

Please read the Rohn installation specifications.   Tower movements cause
a uplifting force on the upwind side and a downward force on the down
wind side.

Not having a proper concrete pier at the base is a very dangerous condition.
