[TenTec] Auto notch in O II v2.041XT

Being one of the CW cranks, I almost never use SSB. But, I wanted to 
show the radio to some visiting kids and so fired up in SSB. I turned 
on the AN and found that the resulting audio was distorted, with the 
amount of distortion a direct function of the AN setting. At 9 it was severe.

I haven't kept up with all of the 2.041Xt bug reports. Is this 
behavior normal? If not, what sort of reset do I need to perform?
