I find the noise blanker in the Scout to be very effective for impulse 
noise, but of course not so good for hash like fuel pump motor noise. My 
only complaint is that with the NB on, I get some filter blowby. Maybe 
your noise blanker just needs an alignment, or your noise pulses are too 
wide for it to handle.
