With a 2.4 Khz roofing filter in line, the DSP NR had virtually no effect on
the specific form/content of 75M garbage this morning.

         Which illustrates my previous point that
there is nothing NR does that turning BW down
manually will not do (and much faster).  NR is
simply an automatic DSP BW control which builds
a narrow filter around the signal.  NR reduces
noise bandwidth by narrowing the filter and
is not performing some magical S/N enhancement.
