Guys you know it was an amazing thing before the sub bands came about I dont
remember any great big problems, so why does the thought process have to be
that it going to be a disaster. And the statment " all those new extras who
memorized the test" that was the problem that incentive created - a caste
system where your not as good as me because you dont have the same grade
license I have or you passed a slower code speed. I firmly believe that the
largest majority of hams in this country passed their test my memorizing
answers. So what is the big deal.
As some one said earlier this is a hobby or is supposed to be any way

It will make a difference for those who do operate CW, because there are
no CW exclusive sub-bands. All those new "Extras" who have passed the
memorization tests and have hooked up their computer sound cards to
their radios, many with no understanding of TX audio level setting, will
have legal access to the entirety of the HF spectrum. Remember to
operate digital modes no speaker is required. Those CW signals on their
waterfall displays will not bother them at all.
