Hi,
I've run my Scout for over a year now. As a backup; for my Omni VI+  , as a 
mobile rig in my car and also in my pop up cam-per powered with a Power 
Station gel cell. I've never had a case of frequency jumping. Hope this 
helps.

I am interested in a Scout as a back up radio and field day rig. There have 
been numerous comments over the past few years regarding the Scout *jumping 
frequency*. Was that ever resolved as to whether it was a problem with 
using
