3/4" spaced line radiates at 6m. Enough to cause local TVI and to change
beam patterns and to hear local noise.

Back in the days when it was written that it didn't radiate, receivers
had NF > 10 dB, and beams had fairly dirty patterns. Today beams can be
had with all lobes more than 25 dB down and receiver NF at VHF can be
under 1 dB. And the modern computerized appliances radiate 50 DB more
hash and noise and are very susceptible to RF upseting their operation.
Which makes shielding of feed lines important to the performance of the
receiver and to domestic tranquility.
