I, too, had a great time at the Hamfest, though I didn't win a door prize.
Got a deal on the Pegasus and RX320 that I wanted to buy, got to talk to TT
Engineer, Allan Kaplan, about my project that will use them as well as meet
other TT personnel, got to meet folks from the TT net and the reflector and
even got a 'bargain' at the flea market. It was only about 6.5 hours each
way for me, but I'll do it again. This was my first time in the area and I'd
like to go back and do some of the tourist things - but I didn't have time
this weekend.

The drive wasn't too bad for me. Set the cruise at 65 in Ohio and Kentucky
and 70 in Tennessee and hardly had to slow down at all until I got off I-40
on to Rt 66 in Sevierville.

The only downside was that to save the 8.5% TN sales tax, I had TT ship the
Pegasus and RX320, so I now I have to wait on UPS for my new toys.

Mark
