Carl:

Can you show me some place where the Omni C was ever called the Omni D
series C? I have the original color brochure for the Omni C and it says OMNI
C in big letters on the front. I also have two Omni C's and both of them say
"model 546 series C on the back. Yes, I do believe that reference to the
Omni D was dropped with the introduction of the Omni C. It's as though
TenTec went through a series of trials with the old Omni series until they
decided what features hams want and ended up with the ultimate Omni, the
Omni C.
