Sounds like you've tried everything but calling Ten-Tec.  Save yourself =
continued aggravation by contacting them and ask that they simply =
replace it.  There's obviously something wrong with the unit.

  Thanks to all of you for your suggestions for curing the raspy CW note =
spewing forth from my new Pegasus, both out of the speaker and out the =
transmission line.  I've tried just about everything in order to fix it: =
 new ground, strapping gear together, isolating gear, swapping power =
supplies, moving power supplies here, moving power supplies there, =
swapping computers, and praying.  Right  now I  am just about ready to =
take the sledgehammer to it.  At this point in time, I wish that I'd =
have kept my Paragon.  It is discouraging to put about a grand into a =
new rig and not be able to use it on cw. =20
