I just gotta comment.

Also a bit disappointed it must rely on a PC, but I guess that gives me an
excuse to upgrade my VIC-20!

Certainly there is much to follow about the "Horse", but just wondering how
the bus/chassis is set up. Wonder if the design accommodates feature
upgrades, other than software, that will be user friendly. For example,
adding a board for FM capability, or swapping a board for such and such new
features.

I must admit, I was a little disappointed to hear it was computer
controlled. But boy howdy, the price wasn't too bad. If I put my 30 years
of tradition behind me, I can look at it this way. If the rig is "full
featured" and I add in the price of my little Gateway factory refurb laptop
for $1200, I think we maybe coming out even or ahead. It's hard to put
money on flexibility. As some one mentioned earlier, upgrades would be a
snap, but I would like to see a dual reciever setup before I bite on this
one. I would buy the remote knob though just for a pacifier, habit is
habit.
