A TVI filter can reduce harmonics more than the internal filters of the
radio, but only if its mounted very close to the radio, essentially
directly to the coax connector. TV interference is from harmonics as
well as fundamental overload. A harmonic filter will do nothing for
fundamental overload or for the TV and computer speaker acting as a
crystal set with gain.
Each device that is detecting has to be treated individually with
internal bypassing and shielding.
Moving the antenna away from the sensitive devices can often be the
easiest way to cope, using balanced antennas and shielded feed lines.
Often those same devices were adding to the noises in the ham receiver
so there's a double benefit by increasing the isolation.
Some antenna tuners accentuate harmonics, some attenuate harmonics.
