Hi Jim,

The wisdom of using RG-8 for this application is not apparent to
me. Why not use an appropriate solid or stranded wire with lugs
on each end?

I had envisioned RG-8 with the braid and center connected together, with
appropriate lugs on each end to attach to a clamp or tower bolt, and
weatherproofing it to keep it all dry.

Jim,

Please ignore Scott's advice, it will cause tower corrosion and quickly fail

Or just use the braid from some RG8 and a couple hose clamps.
