Ah, that's a good point - my car has  a USB auxiliary port for audio, but I have no idea what current it can deliver, and the Afredi wants 900 ma.  Looks like a 24 watt Anker should meet that spec with ease.

You can also power via the USB Port . I have an ANKER power pack that I can use for power or auto USB port. The alternative is the ICOM-705 but who knows when that will be available.

I like to trace RFI with a receiver with a panoramic display and the 
portability of the unit is attractive.
