I've done one growlight location, not for myself, but a friend who was
experiencing severe RFI from somewhere in his close neighborhood. We went
around the neighborhood with some very intimidating-looking antennas,
electronics, and laptops. The interference ceased after about 30-minutes
of 'being obvious' on the hunt for the problem location. We suspect
whomever was conducting the operation saw us and got scared. It's never
come on again, even after 5 months. Take all the geeky equipment you can,
even if it doesn't work anymore, lots of antennas, even a few things that
go 'click' or squeal.
