Checked this morning at my local HD. They said they will dispose of the 40
4' tubes. But I couldn't convince them to take the 20 fixtures.

Not here. They no longer dispose of the fluorescent tubes, nor can I find
any local place that does. I was stuck with a bunch of them last year.

Depot 4' Led fixture for $40. It puts out more light than the existing two
40W tube fluorescent fixtures. And no problem putting out bright light in my
garage in cold winter where the standard fluorescent fixtures were very dim.
