Do people operate in the Summer HI!

If all the vendors turn you down on the RF issue you can look for more vendors or roll the dice. What other choice do you have. If the device causes interference you can try the FCC and the manufacturer.

Last summer I had an MUZ-FE18NA installed. My antenna, a delta loop
cut for 40m, is located about 50' from the outdoor unit and 30 feet
from the indoor unit. I'm a casual operator and have not noticed
anything above the noise floor that I can attribute to the heat pump
with that setup. In order to hear noise on my receiver I've had to
take an antenna to within inches of the unit.
