I agree. The cheapie (under $400) that run on batteries with no wires should be no problem under any circumstances. They should also be OK if they run on batteries and use only WiFi.

The likely source of noise would be a switching power supply to run the electronics to connect either the base station or the sensor to WiFi or the internet.

About six months ago I paid under $30 for a simple WX station at Costco. No issues with my all band legal limit HF station. Closest antennas are at least 150 ft from both base and sensor.
