If can live without DVP support for now, then install Windows XP and run
CTWIN. Otherwise, Windows 98SE would be a good choice, and you don't
need to install DOS. Windows XP has been rock-solid for me both in the
home office and the shack. Microsoft is pretty much ending support for
all non-XP platforms in the coming year or two - this means no bug
fixes, no security patches. While I'm no fan of making Bill Gates rich
(http://money.cnn.com/2003/08/05/news/companies/gates.reut/), I do
believe in using the most current/stable technology available.
I don't know how well CTWIN and CT (DOS) talk to each other, maybe
someone else on the reflector who has experience in this regard can comment.
