next time you may want to start with another band.  It seems to me that it
is easier  to use the alt+F1 or F2 keys than it would be to edit a config
file or enter a command with a parameter.  Let's get off this bandwagon of
agreeing with everything that comes along and express true opinions here.
This is not a beneficial enhancement!!!

  Thanks for the replies.  I know how to change bands <alt><F1/F2>; I'm
looking for a way, in CT.CFG for example, to have CT start in a band other
than 20.

  yes that changes the band, but if you turn the computer off it will
default
