I guess I should have had a smiley face or something...my point was that
this seems to be an inequity...why ARE THEY all 1 pointers...not that yes
they are as per the rules.

I worked at ARRL when the rules for this were written and I cannot remember
the logic behind this...

Yes you are rewarded for an HQ mult but why not also get the DX versus close
points...

OH - now I realize why I am getting these responses this is on the CT
reflector....not CQ contest....sorry!

Life is getting complicated.
