That's nothing compared to northwestern Ontario where it's daylight until like 
11PM in the summer. Staying in EDT year-round means school children up there 
will be waiting for their school bus in the dark most of the winter unless of 
course they change school hours which would defeat the supposed benefit of this 
absurd idea.
If anything we should stay in standard time year-round, I'm not buying into the 
more time to work on antennas narrative :|

It wouldn't change band conditions.

That wouldn't bother me so much. What WILL bother me is not seeing the sun
rise until 8:15 am in late December. I don't want to go to work in the dark.
