Hi Ron,
I'm not asking the SAC Committee to change the contest rules, just wondering if there was a "result page" following the survey launched by the SAC Committee in April (May was the deadline). That's all.

Besides that, I agree with Mats about SAC being slow for DX, specially if you like to RUN other than S&P'ing.

Let's see what the future will bring.

Paolo,

Respectfully, I strongly disagree.

One of the unique aspects of SAC is “Scandinavia works the World / the World works
only Scandinavia”. I see no good reason to ask the SAC committee to even consider
changing that.

Now, if they choose to sponsor another contest, and that one being a Worldwide “everyone works
everyone” affair, I’m all for that... though I don’t see why we NEED another WW contest. But
that’s another story entirely.

In short... It ain’t broke. Don’t fix it.

Hi SAC Committee,
in May a survey was launched on your site, in which there were some interesting
questions, some of them suggesting the will to change rules to transform the
contest to a WW (DX can can work everybody, not only Scandinavian stations).

Is there a public result to questions asked in the survey?

Thanks,

The CW part of Scandinavian Activity Contest will take place

18. September 12 UTC – 19. September 12 UTC

Each part of this “Polar Battle” gathers 1000+ contesters from all around the
world. SAC offers non-Scandinavians a unique opportunity to work the propagationally
challenged Arctic nations and practice your skills.

Things to check out:

* Take a look at our Sponsored plaques program – geographical, special skills, etc.
– You may earn one this year!

* We have a tradition of making Results booklets from each SAC telling what
happened previous years with lots of nice stories and pictures.

* Ham radio and contesting is very much about Propagation. Learn about
