55% of those that participated in this survey did not want the two  
categories combined. I do know why the term combine is being used.  
Assisted never required that the operator use the spotting network so  
this is really about eliminating the unassisted category. Unassisted  
is the generally the most competitive category. I wonder why 45%  
wanted unassisted eliminated? No one is ever forced to operate  
unassisted and more categories allows more opportunities to have fun  
while possibly avoiding competing with the super stations (and super  
ops) in Maine or northern Africa.
