I agree!

Fortunately or unfortunately there are loads of open source tools available
to handle XML. It has durability and it is broadly supported by commercial,
academic and open source communities. The radio sport community might
benefit from the contributions a broader community can make if it were to
grandfather Cabrillo in favour of XML.
