Hi Gang

I'm preparing my NCJ column and am asking for you input on this month's topic:

Tactical decisions
In most contests you will need to change your tactics from time to time to
maximize your score. What makes you decide it is time to change tactics?
What tells you when you should switch to/from running or S&Ping? When do
you look for multipliers and when do you go for rate? In a multi-mode
contest like the ARRL 10M, how do you decide to be on phone or CW? In SO2R
how do you decide which band will be your run band and what will be used by
the second radio? Do you set your off times in advance, or do you make
your decisions during the contest? What other decisions do you make during
the heat of the battle?

Please reply directly by Monday, Sept 18, and be sure your call is included
in your response.

Thanks again for your help! 73
