Well I guess it's time to fess up...We've caused enuff bandwidth useage!
The 14001. signal is the new FRC SuperStation out near Annapolis,Md.
I'm sworn to to keep the exact site a secret but It is evident when cruising
by from the FRC yacht. This project started last year on April 1st when FRC
announced its annexation of PVRC in its April newsletter. The station will
be manned by the 1st FRC/PVRC contest team in time for ARRL CW. Team members
are currently testing the various 20m stacks (the present stack is 8/8/8 at
200'...one of 4-20m arrays on site). Once the site is operational, Tyler,
KF3P will have guest passes to the base for visitor tours. I apologize to my
FRC/PVRC brethern for letting the cat out of the bag but this thread just
went on too long.

Well, it's about 12:30 am local time, the band is dead, but the
carrier is there, peaking about S6. Like really strong scatter.
About the same strength as, say, WEWN or WYFR would be on 13 mHz
scatter.

Whoever they are, I hereby claim first dibs on guest opping
Single Band 20m from their station.

Just to follow up on my posting last week on the subject of a
radio connected to internet:

WO5L pointed me to an R8 on the net at:

http://www.chilton.com/scripts/radio/R8-receiver

Also, numerous people asked how to find cameras connected on the net.
I suggest you try the "Peeping Tom" home page at:

http://www.ts.umu.se/~spaceman/camera.html

These guys are just trying to upstage ETO with the ole brick-on-the-key
trick. I vote that we get them to QSY down 2 khz and leave it there
forever. If anyone finds out how much power and what antenna they are
using, please post it. Sounds like 50 KW to a vertical.

Hi, just got a few bucks, burning a holee in my pocket, and thought of
buying NA & Contest Vocie Blaster. LTA sent me a nice info pack, and an
address for the NA reflector. It is na-user-request@eng.pko.dec.com. The
usual SUBSCRIBE in the body, etc.
Well, my server says the address is UNKNOWN ??
Anyone got anything they can help me out with ???
